A very pretty wedding took place at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Globe on Saturday, May 16, at 2:30 o’clock when Henrietta Schoenherr, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schoenherr of Weston was united in marriage to Lee Mills, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Mills of Weston. The wedding was solemnized by Rev. W. Motzkus of Globe.

The bridal pair were attended by Miss Lorraine Schoenherr, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, and Miss Jessie Mills, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid. The groom’s attendants were Glen Mills, brother of the groom and Herman Schoenherr, Jr., the brother of the bride.

The bride was beautifully gowned in a long ankle length white satin dress and wore a veil of white with a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of red roses, baby breath, and ferns. The maid of honor was dressed in green taffeta, ankle length. The bridesmaid was dressed in peach taffeta, ankle length. They carried bouquets of tea roses. The groom and his attendants wore dark suits.
