Lemmin, Helen (9 OCT 1912)

On Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 9th, 1912, at 2 o’clock, Miss Helen Lemmin of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), and Fred Wolk, a prosperous young farmer of the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., were united in marriage at St. John’s German Ev. Church, by Rev. Bizer, in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and intimate friends. The bride was attended by Misses Hilda Lorfeld of Cleveland, Wis., Bertha and Anna Wolk of the town of Hull, and the groom by Messrs. Arwin Sommer of Cleveland, Wis., Walter Hake of Green Grove, Clark Co., and Emil Wolk of the town of Hull.

After the wedding ceremony a reception and dance was given at the residence of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lorfeld, in this city, a large number of guests being present to help them celebrate the happy event.

Both the bride and groom are well known in this locality and their many friends wish them the heartiest congratulations. They will reside on the groom’s farm.
