Reyer, Olive (15 SEP 1888 - 4 AUG 1911)

Miss Olive Reyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Reyer of the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Henry Oncken, in Madison, Minn., on Friday, Aug. 4th, 1911, of heart trouble and general breaking down in health, aged 22 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Olive was born in the town of Hull on Sept. 15th, 1888, and always lived at home with her parents. She was not in the best of health the past year, and on July 7th, accompanied by her sister, who was visiting here, to her home in Minnesota, where it was hoped the change would be beneficial to her health, but she gradually faded and passed from this life four weeks after her departure from home. She was a true friends, and her devotion to those she loved would make a bright chapter in any life. While she has gone from the scenes, the conflicts, the sorrows and pleasures of life, she will still live in the hearts of those who knew her best. The sympathies of all friends and neighbors are extended to the bereaved family.

The remains arrive here Saturday afternoon, and the funeral was held from the M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. H. Bastow, Monday forenoon. Burial took place in the Colby Cemetery.

Mrs. Henry Oncken and Ed Reyer of Madison, Minn.; Carl Reyer of Hettinger, N.D.; and Will Reyer of Madison, Wis., sister and brothers; Mat Reyer, Aug. Reich and Mrs. Carl Brehm of Sheboygan, uncles and aunt of the deceased, were here to attend the funeral.
