CLYDE — Edward Alvin Campbell, 80 of Eula, died Sunday at a local hospital.

Mr. Campbell was born January 8, 1926, in Weston, Wisconsin, to Ernest Beech and Helen Virginia Wilson Campbell. He married Carol Delores Crume on May 6, 1950 in Neillsville, Wisconsin. They moved to Eula from Abilene in 1972. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Tech Sergeant, serving during WWII on a B-24 as a ballgunner. He later retired from WTU after 20 years of service. He was a Methodist.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of Eula; four daughters, Carol Ann Zocchi of New Jersey, Mary Jane Pendras and husband Ron of Bremerton, Washington, Linda Sue Favor and husband Jimmy of Merkel and Amy Lee Mowins and husband John of Monticello, Florida; one sister, Florence Andregg of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Jessica Favor and fiancé Chris Norfleet of Abilene, Jeffrey and Molly Favor of Abilene, Michael Zocchi and Michelle Zocchi, both of New Jersey; two great- grandchildren Kirsten Favor and Alexis Norfleet.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eula Fire Department.
