Fauser, Craig A. (12 AUG 1953 – 20 MAY 2019)
Craig A. Fauser Sr., 65, of Beaver Dam and formerly of Fall River passed away
peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2019 at his home.
A memorial gathering for Craig will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 10:00
a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake
Road, Beaver Dam. Inurnment will be at St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery in Columbus
at a later date.
Craig Allen was born on August 12, 1953 the son of Dale and Lorraine (Vitoux)
Fauser in Gary, IN. He was a 1972 graduate of Fall River High School. On August
23, 2003, he was married to Pat Retzlaff in the backyard of their home in Fall
River.
Craig had been employed in auto body work and collision repair in both the
Columbus and the Madison area for many years. He enjoyed remodeling their home
in Fall River. Craig loved going fishing, gardening and canning.
Craig is survived by his wife Pat of Beaver Dam; his children: Lonnie (Jodi)
Fauser of Columbus, Craig Fauser Jr. of Columbus and Bridget McClelland of
Randolph; his grandchildren: Victoria Fauser, Isabel Fauser and John Meiller;
his brother Keith (Mary) Fauser of Mayville; sister-in-law Lana Fauser of
Valparaiso, IN; his in-laws: Gary Retzlaff of Beaver Dam, Dennis Retzlaff of
Beaver Dam, Diane Retzlaff of Randolph, Deb Retzlaff of Randolph, Deanna (Jerry)
Schaefer of Fond du Lac, Sandra (Dennis) Eager of Columbus, Randy (Donna)
Retzlaff of Columbus, Rick (Lori) Retzlaff of Randolph, Kathy (Kim) Standke of
Pardeeville, David (Michelle) Retzlaff of Randolph and Karen (Norb) Hughes of
Fox Lake; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jim Fauser and his
brother-in-law Walter Retzlaff.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hillside
Hospice, Dr. Sam Poser and his clinic and the Beaver Dam Fire Department for
their wonderful and compassionate care of Craig. They also are very grateful for
the thoughtfulness, phone calls, prayers and support of their family and friends
throughout the time of Craig's illness. Your kindness means so much and will
always be remembered.
