John Venzke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Venzke, Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), has been named Valedictorian, and Carol Mantik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Mantik, Abbotsford, has been named Salutatorian of the 1971 Abbotsford High School graduating class.

John Venzke maintained an academic average of 93.2 for four years. He took an active part in extra-curricular activities as president of the National Honor Society, member of the choir, member of FFA, science and library clubs, he also worked on the school newspaper and annual staff. He will attend the State University at Medford next fall.

Miss Mantik maintained a 92.9 academic average for four years. She was a member of the National Honor Society, member of the choir and band, member of FHA and library club, she was a member of the student council and newspaper staff, and will attend the State University, Eau Claire next year.
