Aumann, Joseph (7 MAR 1874 - 5 DEC 1929)

NEILLSVILLE, Clark Co., Wis. - Funeral services were held this morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for Joseph Aumann, 55, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Aumann of this city, whose body was sent here from Manchester, Wash., where he died Dec. 5, 1929. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

The deceased was the oldest son of the family, and was born March 7, 1874 at Jefferson, Wis. He learned the butcher trade, and about 30 years ago went to Seattle, Wash., where he opened a retail meat market.

He is survived by five brothers and four sisters, among them Mrs. Jacob J. Haas, Mrs. William Gaden and Charles Aumann of Neillsville, and Father Aumann of Fort Atkinson.
