Two junior class members of the Abbotsford High School were slected to represent
the school at Badger Boy and Girl State.
The week long period of activity with begin June 19, 1971 for each student.
The girls will be attending at the University of Wisconsin Campus at Madison,
and the boy will attend at the Ripon College at Ripon.
The Badger Girl selected at Abbotsford was Christine York, daughter of Mr. and
Mr.s James York, route 1, Dorchester.
The Badger Boy at Abbotsford is Dan Kiefer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kiefer,
route 1, Abbotsford.
The programs are sponsored by the Abbotsford Legion and Auxiliary, to teach
government organization and practice to high school juniors. This year
Abbotsford student senate is donating the expenses for the Badger Girl.
