Hilgart, Francis (28 SEP 1909)

Married, at Park Falls, Wis., Tuesday morning, Sept. 28th, 1909, by Rev. Kiefer, Mr. Frank Panke of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.) and Miss Francis Hilgart of Park Falls. They were attended by Miss Anna Panke, who acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. John Hilgart as groomsman. Soon after the ceremony and wedding breakfast, the couple left for this city, where they will visit with Frank’s parents for a week. They will continue their honeymoon by a visit to Pierce County, of about two weeks, before their return to Park Falls, where they will be at home to their friends in the future. Frank is well known to everyone in this vicinity, having lived here from childhood. He is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Panke, and has a host of friends among his acquaintances. He is one of the trusted employees of the Miller Manufacturing Co. and is known as a faithful, honest and upright young man.

We are not acquainted with the bride, but from what those who know her say, we are satisfied that the young lady will in every way prove a worthy helpmate.
