Peterson, Fred E. (1908 - 12 JUN 1910)

Last Sunday morning the many friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Nels G. Peterson were shocked to learn the sad news that their little son, Fred Elliot, had passed away at 5 o’clock that morning of paralysis. The day before the little fellow seemed in perfect health, in fact he never experienced a sick day in his life, up until a short time before the end came. He was taken sick about 10 o’clock the night before, and about 2 o’clock became much worse. Dr. Jensen was called at that time and all that medical aid and loving hands could do was done, but of no avail, and the little light that shone on earth passed to the realms above. At the time of his death he was nearly two years old, jut the time of life when innocents have such a hold on the parents’ heartstrings. He was a manly little fellow and was loved and admired by all who knew him, and the hearts of the whole community go out to the bereaved parents for their sad loss.

The funeral was held at the M.E. Church, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. R. Prescott, assisted by Rev. Martin, officiating, the remains being laid to rest in Colby Cemetery.
