Lockhart, Lela Rose (Marriage - 1935)

In the presence of a small company of immediate friends and relatives Miss Lela Rose Lockhart, daughter of Mrs. Lillie Lockhart, 403 South Cherry Stree, was married to Leland Walter Bell, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Bell, 303 South Fremont Street, at 8 p.m., Tuesday. The double ring candle light ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. R. Bingaman in the Presbyterian parsonage.

Miss Bertha Lockhart, sister of the bride, and Bruce Bell, brother of the groom attended the couple. The bride wore a gown of golden brown crepe trimmed with brown satin and brown accessories. Her corsage was yellow roses and baby breath. The bridesmaid was gowned in green crepe and wore a corsage of red roses and baby breath.

Twenty-five guests attended the reception held in the apartment of the bridal couple. After a short wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Bell will be at home at 571 North Washington Street. Mr. Bell has been employed by Sears-Roebuck & Company for the past five years. - Janesville Gazette.
