Osberves 100th Birthday

Mrs. Martin Matheson was born in Norway, Oct. 13, 1835. She was married May 20, 1863, and has resided in present place near Greenwood since 1882. Mr. Matheson died March 13, 1908. There are five children living, Mary, Annie, Henry, John and Albert. She has ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She lives on the home place with her two children Albert and Annie. She is nearly blind and completely deaf, but otherwise is in good health. The relatives from Eau Claire present were Mrs. Mary Bye, Mrs. Mary Olsen, Mrs. Stella Wick and children, Lorraine, Jimmy and Joan Jean Erpenbach, Bernice Olsen, Esther Olsen, Wilbert Sorenson and George Christopherson. About 75 relatives and friends called during the day.
