Jas. Heagle suffered a severe fracture of the collar bone by being struck by a flying skid while rolling up logs at J. W. Cirkel & Sons yards on Thursday morning last. We are glad to note his constant improvement under the care of Dr. McCutcheon.

The following is given as a sure cure for small pox or scarlet fever: Sulphate of zine, one grain; Fox glove (eigitolic) one grain; half teaspoonful of sugar; mix with two tablespoons of water. When thoroughly mixed add four ounces water. Take a spoonful every hour. Either disease will disappear in twelve hours. For a child smaller doses according to age. It is claimed to have been successfully used at Fond du Lac.
