Jaschob, Nettgar H. (7 APR 1918 - 13 DEC 2005)

Nettgar Herman "Nick" Jaschob, 87, Marshfield, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at the Continental Manor, Abbotsford, Wis. Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m., at Community Funeral Home, Spencer. Sister Fran Trochta officiated. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

Nettgar "Nick" Jaschob was born April 7, 1918, to Herman and Ella (nee Hahn) Jaschob in Kiel. He graduated from Suring High School and Wausau Business Institute. He worked for M & J Auto Parts, Wisconsin Auto Supply, before being drafted into the Army in September 1941. He was first stationed in Alaska and then back to the states before being shipped to England and France and then returning home in 1945. He then went back to work for Wisconsin Auto Supply and later Sieg Auto Parts. He married Elaine Cherney on July 15, 1957, in Spencer. He retired in 1984.
