Voigt, Albert (8 Aug. 1879 - 4 March 1935)

Albert Voigt, son of August and Frederica Voigt, was born in Pomern, Germany, on August 8, 1879. When he was an infant his parents came to America and settled near Watertown, Wis., in 1879.

The family moved to Clark County in 1901, and settled on their farm in the town of Seif where the deceased spent the rest of his life. He died on March 4m, 1935, and was buried from the home on March 7.

Services were conducted by the Rev. G. W. Longenecker. The children from the school with their teacher, Miss Strangfeld, sang at the funeral. Interment was made in the Seif Cemetery.

A brother William Voigt and wife from Chetek were at the funeral.

A sister, Mrs. Gusta Dus, made her home with her brother on the farm in Seif. He leaves also two nephews, five nieces and many other more distant relatives.
