Miss Elaine Schwoch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schwoch Sr., Rib Lake, and Kenneth Kovatch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kovatch, Medford, were united in marriage during a double right ceremony held June 6 in the Town of Whittlesey with the Rev. C. F. Luedtke, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Medford, officiating. This year the bride served as sixth grade teacher in Madison School.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a satin gown with strapless lace-over-satin bodice and satin skirt with scalloped edge and lace overskirt. A finger-tip silk illusion veil was attached to a lace cap trimmed with seed pearls. She carried to a bouquet of gardenias and stephanotis.

Bridal attendants were Caryl Schwoch, sister of the bride, maid of honor in yellow; Betty Kovatch Medford; Mrs. Karl Schwoch, Rib Lake, and Mrs. Ted Schwoch Jr., Stetsonville, Bridesmaids. They all wore matching strapless gowns of net and lace with bolero jackets and Juliet caps. Their bouquets were composed of yellow roses and lavender carnations. The bridesmaids’ gowns were lavender.

Best man was Ewald Schaar-schmidt, Medford. Other attendants to the groom were Robert Dodge, Medford, and Ted Schwoch Jr., and Karl Schwoch, brothers of the bride.

The mother of the bride wore a yellow suit with white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses and lavender carnations. The groom’s mother was attired in a gray suit with a corsage of red carnations.

Later in the afternoon a supper was served to 125 guests at the home of the bride.

Both the bride and the groom are graduates of Wisconsin State College, Eau Claire. The groom taught seventh grade at Gilman.

At the present time the young Mr. and Mrs. Kovatch are on a honeymoon in Upper and Lower Michigan, Montreal, Can., Niagara Falls, Boston, New York, and Washington, D. C.

Guests from Wausau, Montello, Merrill, Unity, Owen, Withee, Junction City, Dorchester, Eau Claire, Mondovi, and Alma were present at the ceremony.
