Stowe, Mary (13 May 1875 - 1953)

Loyal - The body of Mrs. Mary Stowe, 78, was interred Tuesday in the Town of Beaver cemetery following services in Myre Funeral Home, officiated by William Baker, a Bible student.

Mrs. Stowe died June 12 at the Badger Sunset Home, Fairchild.

Mrs. William Baker and Ernest Hake sang "Rest for the Toiling Brow" and "The Eye That Never Sleeps," accompanied by Mrs. Elwood Fisher, organist.

Pallbearers were Lawrence Neuman, Richard Witte Sr., Adam Roohr, Richard Witt Jr., Bud Witte, and John Widmore.

Flower arrangements were handled by LaVonne Neumann, Joel Neuman, Paulette Witte, and Bonnie Ewert.

Among the out-of-town residents who attended was Mrs. Ann Ostak, Milwaukee, a sister of Mrs. Stowe.

Loyal - Services will be held Tuesday for Mrs. Mary Stowe, 78, Loyal, who died Friday at the Badger Sunset Home, Fairchild, where she had been a patient one year.

William Baker, a Bible student, will officiate at rites at 2 p.m. in Myre Funeral Home, where the body is reposing. Burial will be made in the Town of Beaver Cemetery.

Mrs. Stowe, nee Mary Roohr, was born May 13, 1875, in the Town of Beaver, where she lived most of her life. She was married there in 1902 to Patrick Stowe. He died in June, 1934. They had no children.

Survivors include two brothers, John, Owen, and Jake, Pittsville; and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Summer, of California, Hazel, Ladysmith, and Ann, Milwaukee.

Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
