Reischl, Joseph (JAN 1835 - 13 OCT 1896)

Died, at his home in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., on Tuesday, Oct. 13th, 1896, of cancer of the stomach, Mr. Joseph Reischl, in the 62nd year of his age.

Joseph Reischl was born in St. Peter, Hungary, in Jan. 1835. He came to America in 1874, and came directly to this place, arriving her in October, and made his home for a short time in the village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), until he got his house erected on the farm, where he lived until his death. He was the father of 8 children, 7 of whom, 4 sons and 3 daughters, are living, two of the daughters are Sisters of Charity in the hospital at Joliet, Ill., all of whom are home for the funeral, also Mrs. Kaltnecker of Stevens Point, who is a sister of deceased. The funeral is held today at 10:30 o’clock at St. Kilian’s Church, Rev. Adolph Miller officiating.
