Letter From Russell H. Meyer Rm. 3c Received

Somewhere in the Pacific I received the copy of the Unity, Wis. High school Class Record for 1944 yesterday (June 6).

I just want to say thanks a million for making it possible that I received a copy. It is really a nice paper. I’ve read every word of it already and really enjoyed it immensely.

Well I supposed summer is well underway back home. It’s been hot here all winter and getting hotter right along. This last winter has been the first one in my life that I never saw any snow.

The beginning of the European Invasion yesterday cause a lot of excitement even way out here on the opposite of the world. I certainly hope it is successful because the more successful each move, the sooner we’ll all be home again. So long and thanks again.
