Streich, Reva M. (1 SEP 1915 - 18 OCT 2005)

Reva M. Streich, 90. Spencer, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, Wis. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal. The Rev. Wendell Williams officiated. Burial followed in the Loyal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Stange, Bob Collinson, Mike Collinson, Mark Collinson, Keith Collinson and David Collinson.

Reva Marie Collinson was born on Sept. 1, 1915, in Jacksonville, Ill., to George H. and Edith (nee Gruber) Collinson. She was raised and received her education in Jacksonville. As a young woman, she moved to Chicago and did domestic work. She married Edward Streich on Dec. 1, 1951, in Hayward, Ill. They resided in Marengo, Ill., where she raised a daughter and worked at "The Bottle Cap", a bottle cap manufacturing company in Belvidere, Ill. They moved to the Spokeville area, rural Loyal, in the early 1970’s. Her husband, Ed, died on April 25, 1981. After her daughter’s death on March 23, 1994, she moved into Spencer and resided there until entering the Clark County Health Care Center on Aug. 3, 2005. She had many interests, but especially enjoyed cross stitching, knitting, crocheting and bead work.

Survivors include two sisters, Florence Stange, Greenwood, Ill., and Vada Falconer, Loyal; two brothers, Leroy (Elna) Collinson, Neillsville and Harold (Marliss) Collinson, Curtiss; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ed, her daughter, Mary Louise Streich; and two brothers, George I. Collinson, and Lloyd Collinson.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
