Gleaner Hermina Ingold Hermina E. Ingold,
94, Neillsville, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at the Memorial
Nursing Home, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m.
Friday, July 11, at the United Methodist Church, Neillsville. The
Rev. Meg Erickson officiated. Music was provided by Pat Knudson,
organist. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Dave Bauman, Chris Deedon, Jim Ingold, Craig Naedler, Larry
Naedler, and Rodney Naedler. Hermina Elizabeth
Essig was born April 13, 1909 in Washington, Ill. to John and
Lizzie (nee Esser) Essig. She married Roger Ingold on June 27, 1931
in Washington, Ill. In September, 1948, they moved to a farm in
Wisconsin. They farmed in the Neillsville area for many years. In
1970, they retired and moved into town. After retiring from
farming, she worked at the Family Shoe Store and she also
volunteered at the Hospital Auxillary until last summer. She was a
member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist
Women, the Pine Valley Homemakers Club, and the Hospital Auxillary.
She enjoyed crafts, card playing, and cooking for her family. Surviviors include
one son, Roger (Mary Ann) Ingold, Jr., Neillsville; one daughter,
Mary (Marvin) Naedler, Granton; seven grandchildren, Larry and
Rodney Naedler, Nancy Bauman, Joyce Deedon, Jim Ingold, Julie
Anderson, and Wendy Zschernitz; 14 great-grandchildren, Craig,
Eric, Chad, Aaron, Seth and Tricia Naedler, Jennifer and Andrew
Bauman, Nicholas and Nathan Deedon, Jimmy Ingold, Lucan Ingold, and
Tanner Zschernitz; and one step- great-granddaughter, Alexis
Anderson. Preceding her in
death were her husband, Roger, Sr.; a daughter, Shirley Ann; four
brothers; and four sisters. The Gesche Funeral
