Bill Nelson (a great-great-great grandson of Philo and Polly Platt) contacted me about two years and provided some facts about the Platt family. Would you want to make contact with him? I can forward you the e-mails he sent me.

Bill Nelson and I actually found each other through genealogy surname boards and have been in contact for a couple years. In fact, we found that our mothers knew each other; their families were in touch with each other when they were young, and they are now corresponding with each other. What a wonderful place the web can be! Thanks, Carol
