Jalling, Margaret (Marriage - 9 Sep 1922)

Miss Margaret, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jalling, and Mr. Theodore Sorenson, son of Mrs. M. Sorenson, both of the town of Hixon, Clark County, Wis., were married at the home of the bride's parents Saturday evening, Sept. 9, 1922, at seven o'clock by the Rev. Grandy of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The ceremony was witnessed by about one hundred and fifty guests. The contracting parties were attended by Mr. Carl Christensen of St. Paul and Albert Hansen as groomsmen and the Misses Carrie Sorenson, sister of the groom, and Irene Nielsen.

After the ceremony the wedding party and guests went to the Dana Hall where an elaborate wedding supper was given, which was followed by a reception and dance.

The bride is a young lady who graduated from the Withee schools and her whole life has been spent in the village, and she has numerous friends and relatives who wish for her success and happiness in married life.

The groom is one of the most prosperous young farmers living north of the village, and since his leaving school has made much progress in the development of his farm and at all times has been prominent in the social functions of his neighborhood.

After an automobile tour of the southern part of the state they will be at home to their many friends on the groom's farm one mile north of the village of Withee.
