Miller, Lettie C. (31 Jan 1879 - 27 Apr 1923)

Mrs. Lettie Christina Miller, wife of Fred Miller, passed away at her home four and one-half miles northwest of the village of Withee, Clark County, Wis. Friday afternoon, April 27, 1923, of heart disease, an ailment with which she suffered but a day. She was forty-four years of age. Funeral services were conducted from the Danish Lutheran Church Monday afternoon and burial was made in the church cemetery. She leaves to mourn a husband and three sons and three daughters, all of who were home at the time of her death. She was a woman well thought of by all who gained her acquaintance and was prominent in social life in her community. The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community at this sad hour.

Lettie Miller was born Jan. 31, 1879 in Racine, Wis. and passed away at her home here Friday, April 27, after an illness of a few hours.

She came to Withee in 1893. On Feb. 12, 1902 she was married to Fred Miller, They have since resided at their farm north of Withee.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, he children, Harold, Caroline, Anna, Alice, Armand and Jens; her father Soren Anderson, Sr., of Withee, her brothers, Andrew B. Anderson of California; Ole C. Anderson of Neillsville, Wis.; Carl B. Anderson of Withee; and Soren B. Anderson Jr. of Butternut, Wis.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 30, at the Danish Lutheran Church, the Rev. Dixon officiating.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Ole Anderson of Neillsville, Soren Anderson and son Francis of Butternut, Mrs. Karen Jorgensen and Peter Miller of Hampton, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Hansen of Thorp, Wis.
