Miss Lageson is a 1974 graduate of Winona Senior High School and a secretary for the La Crosse School District. Her fiance, a 1973 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1980 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, is a foreman for Cree Construction of Winona, Minnesota. They plan a September 1 wedding.

NEILLSVILLE - Allen and Sally Scott, Neillsville, recently attended the North Central Regional 4-H Leaders Forum November 10-13 in Brainerd, Minnesota.

The Scotts were two of 27 volunteer leaders from Wisconsin participating in the conference designed to help volunteer leaders gain additional skills in working with youth. The forum featured workshops on vision education, computers, management roles, family 4-H involvement, television and 4-H and mainstreaming the handicapped in 4-H.

Jennings, Annabelle (26 September 1905 - 27 November 1983)

GRANTON - Services for Mrs.. Roy (Annabelle)Jennings. 78, of the Neillsville Memorial Home who died there Sunday morning, will be Thursday at United Methodist Church in Chili. Visitation will be at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

The former Annabelle Dodder was born September 26, 1905 in Livingston County, Michigan, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Morgan (Mary Gillespie) Dodder. She was a graduate of Union Grove High School.

She was married to Roy Jennings December 8, 1926 in Yorkville, where they lived until moving to a farm in the Town of Fremont in 1938.

A member of United Methodist Church, Mrs. Jennings is survived by her husband; four sons, Arthur of Oak Creek, Kenneth of Neillsville, George of Conover, North Carolina and Howard of Chili; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Mary) Crum of Aurora, Colorado, Mrs. Richard (Esther) Velters of Racine and Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Kirk of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; 31 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Morgan and Maynard Dodder, both of Flint, Michigan; and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy DeGroat of Madison.

She was predeceased by three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Memorials are requested to World Hunger or The Red Bird Mission of United Methodist Church.

Mills, Harold R. (1 May 1915 - 27 November 1983)

ABBOTSFORD - Services for Harold R. Mills, 68, of 207 W. Cedar, Abbotsford, who died Sunday evening at his home, will be Wednesday at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev. Robert L. Everhard of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Cremation will follow.

He was born May 1, 1915 in Superior, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry (Mabel Holman) Mills. He graduated in 1933 from Superior East High School and in 1937 from Superior State College with a bachelor degree in education. He also attended the UW-Milwaukee, New York University and the University of Illinois.

He taught school in Bruce until 1947 and was principal of several schools in Racine, one of which was William Horlick Senior High School from 1959070. He was administrator of Abbotsford Public Schools from 1970 until 1978 when he retired.

He was a member of many professional education associations in Racine and was past president of the Big 8 Conference and past president of the Racine Rotary Club.

He married Marian Schultz August 7, 1943 in Bruce; she died on August 7, 1983.

A member of the First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford, Mr.Mills is survived by two sons, Dr. Kenneth Mills of Winnipeg, Canada. and Steven Mills of Richland Center; a daughter, Mrs. David (Laurie) Harring of Belleville; a sister, Mrs. Muriel Hughes of Racine; and two grandchildren.

Deming, Amy Ellen (26 November 1983)

Miss Amy Ellen Deming, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don E. Deming of Abbotsford, was given in marriage by her father November 26 to James William Kommer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kommer, also of Abbotsford.

The Rev. Emil A. Hodnik officiated at the nuptials in St.Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. T.P. Bradtke of Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, assisted. Mrs. Martin Schultz was organist; Martin Schultz and Randall Gray were trumpeters; and Dean Gray and Mrs. Randall Gray were soloist.

Miss Gloria Mantik of Abbotsford was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Misses Debbie, Robin, and Tammi Kommer, all of Abbotsford.

Jonalee Kommer, Abbotsford, and Alexander Gray of Kentucky were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

Dean Gray, Marshfield, was best man. Groomsmen were Paul Deming of Minneapolis, David Deming of Milwaukee, Richard Deming of Auburndale and Marc Deming, Abbotsford. Ushering were Forrest and Patrick Pecher of Abbotsford and Kevin Kulas, Wausau.

The Stetsonville Community Center was the setting for the reception, dinner and dance. The newlyweds, who live in Milwaukee, plan a Florida trip at a later date.

The bride graduated from Abbotsford High School and attends the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. For the second semester she will be attending UW-Milwaukee. Her husband, a graduate of Abbotsford High School, attends Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Racine, Barbara Ann (23 January 1949 - 27 November 1983)

Mrs. Joseph (Barbara Ann) Racine, 34, Gillette, Wyoming, formerly of Dorchester, died Sunday at Campbell Memorial Hospital in Gillette.

Services will be Saturday at St Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. The Rev. James F. Schaefer will officiate. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Visitation at the Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester.

The former Barbara Ann Stoiber was born Jan. 23, 1949 in Dorchester, to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin (Barbara Fischer) Stoiber. She graduated from Colby High School in 1967 and attended University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Prior to moving to Gillette, she was employed at various banks in Appleton, Marshfield, Medford and the Abbotsford State Bank. In Gillette she was employed as a real estate salesperson and broker for Top Realty.

She was a member of the Wyoming State Professional Standards Committee; chairman of the Campbell County Board of Realtors Professional Standards Committee; secretary, vice-president and president of the Campbell County Board of Realtors in 1981, 1982 and 1983 respectively.

She was nominated to membership of Outstanding Women of America in 1979-81, and was in Who's Who in American Women in 1982.

She was a member of St Matthews Catholic Church in Gillette; a member of the board of directors of United Way; chairman of the Chamber of Commerce housing committee; and member and secretary of the Chamber in 1980-81.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Gregory A. Graham of Gillette; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Stoiber of Dorchester; a brother Richard Stoiber of Dorchester; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Miller of Avon, Indiana; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Haizel and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Stoiber, both of Dorchester.
