Mrs. W. P. Miller and daughter, of Appleton, were here last week on a visit to friends and relatives.

It is reported that Mrs. John Servaty is lying ill with the measles. Mrs. V. Nason takes her place in school during her absence.

Ernest O’Neill, and the Misses Anna Reber, Beatrice McMillen and Lillie Dangers returned to Madison, Monday morning to resume their studies at the State University.

W. J. Quinnell, who has been operating the coal kilns at Chili for C. Connelius & Co., has completed his contract, and moved his family to Friendship, Adams county.

Minnie Herrian, who has been clerking in a store at Merrill for some time, returned home last week sick with the rheumatism. She will probably remain with her parents during this winter.
