Crowley, Mrs. Patrick (20 Apr 1891 - 19 May 1921)

Mrs. Patrick Crowley passed away at her home in this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) this morning (Thursday) at 4:30 o'clock, after an illness extending over a period of many months.

Mrs. Crowley was operated on several months ago in hopes that the operation would restore her to normal health, and hospital physicians where she was being treated believed a cure would be effected. After her return home she seemed to regain in health, but the trouble was not cured and death followed after months of painful suffering. She was a woman of fine character, a good mother and wife and was honored and respected in the community, and her loss will be deeply felt by many outside her family.

She was thirty years and twenty-nine days of age, and was united in marriage on Feb. 17, 1907, and has been a resident of this city for the past twelve years. She leaves to mourn, a husband and two children, James, aged 13, and Alice, aged 10, her parents, one brother and seven sisters, Donald, Beulah, Norma, Winifred and Audrey at home at Ladysmith; Mrs. Walter Fox of Ladysmith; Mrs. Peter Hanson of Abbotsford; Mrs. Roy LaHert of St. Paul, and Mrs. Levi Jenness of Ladysmith. Mrs. Fox was at her bedside when the end came.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, a short prayer service preceding the service at the Congregational Church, which will be held at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. E. C. Clark officiating. Interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery.

The heartfelt sympathies of the entire community are extended to Mr. Crowley and the bereaved family in these troubled hours.
