Tolley, Terri Ann (8 November - 1980)

Terri Ann Tolley and David Gene Steenhoek, both of La Crosse, were united in marriage during services, November 8, at St. James Catholic Church in La Crosse. Officiating were the Revs. Gerald Fischer and Phyllis Palsma. Parents of the couple are Wayne and JoAnn Tolley of Granton and Alfred and Doris Steenhoek of Pella, Iowa.

Special music at the service was provided by Clair Coleman and Dawn Pierce.

Serving as maid of honor was Lane Winstead of Granton. She was joined by Cathy Pickett of La Crosse and Joleen Steenhoek of Pella.

Harris Steenhoek of Pella was bestman. He was joined by Duane Tolley of Granton and Kevin Amsrud of La Crescent, Minnesota. Ushering were Greg Brake, Vince Steele and Dan Wiese, all of La Crosse.

The bride chose a gown made by her mother, which featured a double ruffle, lace sleeves and double-length chapel veil. She carried a single red rose and baby’s breath. Her attendants wore apricot-colored dresses with cape sleeves and bustles. They caried a single white rose with baby’s breath in their hair. The groomsmen were attired in brown suits.

Following the service, a reception was held at the Bluff Vies Motel in La Crosse. The couple then left on a wedding trip to the Twin Cities. The new Mrs. Steenhoek is a 1978 graduate of Granton High School. Her husband attended Pella Community High School. The couple will make their home in La Crosse.
