(Marriage - 23 NOV 1929) The marriage of
Miss Iola Reis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reis, to Mr.
Kenneth Miller, both of Minneapolis, took place Nov. 23, 1929 at
the Wesley M. E. Church, Rev. George Mecklenburg performing the
marriage ceremony. The bride and the groom were attended by Miss
Margaret Rogers, recently of Los Angeles, and Mr. Norman Saunders,
a prominent artist of Minneapolis. The bride and
bridesmaid were dressed in dark blue crepe with trailing effect and
both looked unusually charming. Shortly after the ceremony, the
bridal party, with a large number of friends, went to the
Boulevards of Paris, an exclusive night club of St. Paul, where
they celebrated the event in the approved manner. The party left
the newlyweds at the Mattawa apartments, where they will reside for
the present. The bride is well
and favorably known in Colby, Wis. and vicinity and her friends
wish her a long and happy life. Mr. Miller, although not so well
known here, is a prominent young man of Minneapolis, where he has a
position with the board of education. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
