Plutte, Mrs. Fred (3 Dec 1863 - 27 May 1929)

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Plutte, whose death was chronicled in this paper last week, were held at the Green Grove Lutheran Church Friday, May 31st, Rev. Goetsch officiating, and interment was made in the Green Grove Cemetery.

The deceased was born Dec. 3, 1863, in the town of Herman, Sheboygan Co., Wis., thus reaching the age of 65 years, 5 months and 24 days. She died Monday, May 27, inflammation of the bowels being the cause of her departure to the great beyond. She was ill but six days, although she had been ailing the last eight years. She came this country forty-eight years ago, and therefore May well be included among the early pioneers of this community. She was married to Fred Plutte in 1880 in the town of Herman, Sheboygan Co., which union was blessed with four children, all of who are still living, namely: Mrs. H. Wiedenhoeft, Colby; Wm. Plutte, Curtiss; Mrs. Henry Senkbeil, Colby, Mrs. Aug. Spann, Colby. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Forester, Sheboygan; Mrs. David Laux, Kiel; Mr. Albert Eick, Sheboygan; Mr. Ferdinand Eick, Cleveland; Mrs. Fred Eickhoff, Kiel; Mrs. Wm. Klessig, Cleveland, and Mr. Fred Eick, Sheboygan. Mr. Fred Plutte died Aug. 28, 1923.

The out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eickhoff of Kiel, Mr. and Mrs. David Laux of Kiel, Mr. Ferdinand Eick of Clerveland, Mr. Wm. Klessig of Cleveland, Mrs. Mary Foerster of Sheboygan, Mrs. Theodore Wunsch of Haven, Wis., Mr. Raymond Wunsch of Howard's Grove, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kilbert of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goelz of Milwaukee, Mrs. Christ Plutte of Milwaukee, Mrs. John Salter of Pittsville and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pflum of Marshfield.
