(Marriage - 5 OCT 1927) Emil A. Weix, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Weix and formerly of Colby, Wis., and Miss
Kathleen O'Malley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark O'Malley, were
married at the Holy Rosary Church at Medford Wednesday, Oct. 5,
1927, Rev. Rueter officiating. Miss Esther Kostner of Medford acted
as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Marcell Weix of
Dorchester. Immediately after
the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the Fayette
Hotel, where a breakfast-dinner was served. After dinner, the
newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Chicago and the Twin Cities.
They will be at home after Oct. 15th at Medford, Wis., where the
groom is employed at the canning factory. The groom is well
and favorably known in Colby, as he lived here all his life except
the past few years. His many friends extend congratulations and
