O'Malley, Kathleen (Marriage - 5 OCT 1927)

Emil A. Weix, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Weix and formerly of Colby, Wis., and Miss Kathleen O'Malley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark O'Malley, were married at the Holy Rosary Church at Medford Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1927, Rev. Rueter officiating. Miss Esther Kostner of Medford acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Marcell Weix of Dorchester.

Immediately after the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the Fayette Hotel, where a breakfast-dinner was served. After dinner, the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Chicago and the Twin Cities. They will be at home after Oct. 15th at Medford, Wis., where the groom is employed at the canning factory.

The groom is well and favorably known in Colby, as he lived here all his life except the past few years. His many friends extend congratulations and wish him happiness.
