(Marriage - 14 Sep 1927) Edna Scheuerman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Scheuerman and Walter Wellman, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wellman, were married Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1927,
at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Curtiss, Clark County, rev.
Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony. Leona Papenfuss was the
bridesmaid and Frieda Dallman maid of honor. The groom was attended
by Gerhardt Wellman and Arnold Scheuerman. The bride wore a
beautiful dress of white headed georgette and carried a bouquet of
roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid was attired in a dress of
flesh georgette and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The
maid of honor wore a dress of blue canton crepe and carried a
bouquet of sweet peas. Immediately after
the wedding ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the Lukowicz
studio in Colby, where they had their picture taken. From here the
party autoed to the home of the bride's parents, where a wedding
reception was given, the home being nicely decorated in orange and
white for the occasion. In the evening, a free wedding dance was
given at Wiedenhoeft's park. The newlyweds left
on a honeymoon trip to points in southern Wisconsin and will be at
home after Oct. 1st at Spencer, where the groom is employed at the
