ABBOTSFORD TRIBUNE (Abbotsford, Wis.) 12/31/1925 Merwin, Rosalie
(Marriage - 23 Dec 1925) The many friends
of Miss Rosalie Merwin were surprised or will be surprised to learn
of her marriage to Mr. L. F. Loucks, now of Curtiss, Clark County,
Wis., but formerly of New York. The young folks, unknown to friends
or relatives, quietly slipped out last Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1925,
and went to Owen, where they were united in the bonds of holy
matrimony at the Parsonage home of Rev. A. C. Odden, at 2:30 in the
afternoon. After the ceremony they returned to Abbotsford and
announced their marriage. The bride is the
daughter of Mrs. Emily Merwin of Abbotsford and a graduate of the
Abbotsford High School in 1921 and the Stevens Point Normal in
1923, and has taught school in this vicinity for a number of years
past, and is well and favorably known here. The groom is a graduate
of the New York State of Agriculture at St. Lawrence University,
and has been official tester for the Curtiss Cow Testing
Association for the past three years, and is well known in this
vicinity. The Curtiss Advance joins with their many friends in
wishing them the best of luck in their married life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
