Krueger, Carl (18 OCT 1846 - May 1919)

Died, at his home in the town of Green Grove, Clark County, Wis., Carl Krueger, aged 73 years.

Deceased was born Oct. 18, 1846 and in the year 1869 came to America, settling in Sheboygan County. In 1873 he was united in marriage to Miss Augusta Winkle and three years later came to Clark County, Wis. To this union was born fifteen children, eleven of who survive him as follows: Mrs. Wm. Zeiger of Milwaukee, Mrs. Louise Cole and Mrs. Ernest Baumgartner of Waukesha, Hugo and Albert, who are both serving in the army and still in France, Otto of Colby, Charles, Fred, Henry, William and Gusta, all of the town of Green Grove. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, with burial in the Green Grove Cemetery. Undertaker, F. W. Lulloff, will have charge of the remains.

However, this could still be the Carl Krueger who was a witness to wedding of my grandparents, Holtz in Washburn, Bayfield county. in 1892. Jane
