Ives, Della (30 JUL 1870 - 22 Jan 1921)

Mrs. George Ives died at the Marshfield Hospital Saturday afternoon Jan. 22, 1921 at 4:30, after an illness that lasted for some time.

Della Patno Ives was born July 30, 1870 in Richland Center, Wis. She lived there until 1898, when she came with her parents to Hillsborough, where they lived two years and moved in 1900 to Clark County, Wis. She was married in March 1903 to George W. Ives. She joined the Church of Christ when 14 years of age and has lived a devout Christian life ever since. The last few years have been full of suffering for her, but through it all she showed Christian fortitude. She loved the church and its services.

There remains to mourn her death, her husband, mother, Mrs. G. W. Smith, a sister, Mrs. Chas. Clouse and a brother, John Patno, all of Loyal, Clark County, and a brother, Chas. Patno of Industry, Ill., 8 stepchildren, besides other relatives and a host of friends.

The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church her Monday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. J. H. Chatterson officiating. She was laid to rest in the Loyal Cemetery. The bereaved family has the sympathy of many friends in their sorrow.
