Schultz, Louise (6 NOV 1836 - 7 OCT 1914)

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1914, Mrs. Louise Schultz died at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 1 day.

The deceased, Miss Louise Rahm, was born in Schoenhagen at Newgard, Pommern, on Nov. 6, 1836, where she was also married to Mr. Wm. Schultz, who died June 1, 1896. In the year of 1876 she and her husband wondered to America and after living at Iron Ridge for about a year and a half they came to Clark County, Wis., where she has since resided. Her marriage was blessed with three sons and one daughter, of whom one son passed away before her, the remainder are still living.

After a long, busy and useful life she died as she lived, honored, trusted and loved. Her Christian life was beautiful from its beginning to its close, and through all the vicissitudes and sorrow that she met in the way, her faith in God never wavered. But she has left us and today the autumn leaves fall upon another grave that hides from our sight all that is moral of a true and noble woman.

The funeral was held last Friday afternoon at one o'clock from the Lutheran Church, with burial at the Lutheran Cemetery, Rev. Kemena officiating. The mourning relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of a host of friends.
