Wiric, Mary (Marriage - 25 JUN 1913)

The Catholic Church was handsomely decorated yesterday morning in honor of the wedding, which took place at nine o'clock. The contracting parties were Miss Mary Wiric and Mr. Frank McGonigal, both of them from very prominent families in this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.), and the wedding was performed by Father Stenz, assisted by Father Pillon of Superior, a schoolmate of the groom, and Father Ehmeier of Marshfield, the ceremony being the nuptial high mass.

The bride was dressed in white silk net with pink and blue ribbon trimmings and was attended by Misses Marvel Devlin and Agnes Doyle.

The groom wore the conventional black and was attended by Victor Wiric and Archie Kutchera of Spooner.

The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wiric, is one of the choicest young ladies. From a little girl she has grown up in our midst, honored by old and young alike. She ahs ever been a bright star in the home circle and now she has gone to reign as a queen in her own home.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James McGonigal and is considered one of the substantial and coming young men of the county who will make his mark.

The young couple left the same night for Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Paul and Minocqua for a wedding trip of three weeks and will be at home in the John Kaarup residence in this village after Aug. 1st.

The congratulations on the happy event are numerous and this paper is greatly pleased on this occasion to add its hearty good wishes to those being so freely extended.
