Emery Brule turned mule-whacker for a few days last week, and as a result supported for a time, one of the best developed hands in the county. The occupation he adopted as a pastime, for the time being, was that of a wood-sawyer, in which, by the aid of machinery, a pair of mules was expected to do most of the work, but by some means he had his right hand badly bruised by a long which he was helping to place before the saw.
