Johnnie Dwyer will soon be on-end again.

The highest price paid for ginseng at Lacey’s.

Jin Houston is a second Job. "Biles" cannot make a savage of him.

Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Hendren returned from their visit to Ohio, last Wednesday.

Dave Brown and Charley Crocker are about to retire from the black-ash sugar and vinegar trade. They will sell cheap.

Last Monday, "Baby" Wells, a three year old daughter of Mr. O. P. Wells, fell from a stove hearth, on which she was playing in her father’s store, breaking her left arm between the elbow and wrist.

During the next few weeks Herman Schuster, Register of Deeds for this county, will devote the most of his time in settling up the estate of the late W. T. Hutchinson, during which time he May be found at the office of R. Dewhurst.
