Thomas, Stella A. (Marriage - 2 OCT 1907)

A pretty home wedding was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Thomas, at eight o'clock last evening. The contracting parties were Miss Stella A Thomas of this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) and Mr. George Fisher of Spencer. Rev. C. H. Towne was the officiating clergyman who tied the nuptial knot pronouncing the ceremony which united the lives of these estimable young people.

The wedding was a quiet one, witnessed only by the immediate relatives of the bride and groom and a few intimate friends. Promptly at eight o'clock, to the music of the wedding march, played by Miss Theda Patton, the young couple took their places and the minister, with an impressive yet simple ceremony, made them husband and wife. The rooms were decorated with pansies, carnations and smilax. The bride was attended by Miss Lulu Welsha nd the groom by Mr. Roy Thomas.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white silk trimmed with lace and ribbon. The groom wore the conventional black.

The bride is well known here and is honored by old and young alike. She is a graduate of our high school and has successfully taught school in this vicinity for three years, being considered one of our best teachers.

The groom is a manufacturer of cheese and operates a cheese factory near Spencer and, while a resident of our neighboring village, has a wide acquaintance here and is admired for his good qualities.

After an evening most pleasantly passed in a social manner the groom took his prize to the home at Spencer, which he had furnished throughout.
