Mr. Bacon has cut his fine piece of winter wheat adjoining town, and to look at it makes one feel like buying a farm.
-Separate article same issue –
The winter wheat harvest is now in full blast throughout the county, with the most favorable weather for the purpose. The crop is by far the largest and best that has ever been cut in the county. The hay crop, which is nearly all gathered in good shape, is also enormous. Unless there is an unusually large amount of logging done next winter, there will be hay to spare for the first time in the history of the county.
