Jillson, Ann Eliza (4 Jul 1826 - 22 Apr 1908)

Died, at Beaver Dam, Wis. on Wednesday, April 22, 1908, of a complication of diseases, Mrs. Ann Eliza Jillson, aged 81 years, 9 months and 26 days.

The deceased was born in Elmira, New York, on July 4, 1826. At Horseheads, N.Y., on Dec. 18, 1844, she was united in marriage to Leonard Stonemetz. They resided in New York Sate until Nov. 1859, when they went to Westford, Dodge Co., Wis., where they resided on a farm for a few years and afterward went to Beaver Dam to reside, where Mr. Stonemetz died on Aug. 17, 1885. She was married to George Jillson of Beaver Dam on Dec. 24, 1893, and they located on a farm near this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) eight years ago. Last December they went to Beaver Dam to spend the winter, where Mr. Jillson died on March 10, 1908.

Mrs. Jillson has been ill since the early part of January when she was ill with the grippe and never thoroughly recovered from it. She gradually grew weaker and passed away on Wednesday morning at a quarter to seven.

Among her friends she ranked always as a woman of sympathy, a kind neighbor, devoted mother and true friend.

The funeral services were held at Beaver Dam on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock.
