Travel to the Pineries - Some idea of the amount of travel on the main Black river road, May be had of the following count made of the number of teams passing Weston school house during last week. It will of course be understood that there are many other roads leading to the pineries, and that this number is but a mere fraction of the whole. The tally was kept by a member of Mr. Thos. Pounder’s family:

Monday, 15th 122 Tuesday, 16th 115 Wednesday, 17th 120 Thursday, 18th 144 Friday, 19th 137 Saturday, 20th 183 Sunday, 21th 110 Total 931
