Breseman, Clifford R. (24 Augl 1947 - 14 Apr 2003)

Clifford R. Breseman, 55, Marshfield, died on Monday, April 14, 2003, at his home in the town of Lincoln, Wood County. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, April 22, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville. The Rev. Anthony J. Wolf officiated. Burial was in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Chili. Military rites were accorded by the Marshfield American Legion Post #54.

Clifford R. Breseman was born on Aug. 24, 1947, in Marshfield, to Harlow B. and Marian T. (nee Heckel) Breseman. He attended Marshfield schools and Mid-State Technical College, Wisconsin Rapids, where he earned a degree in welding. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, from Dec. 8, 1966, until his honorable discharge on Sept. 17, 1968. He was awarded a Purple Heart. After returning to Marshfield, he worked as a cheesemaker for Consolidated Badger until 1969. He then worked for Felker Bros. Construction as a fabricator from July 1970 until the time of his death. He also was a dairy farmer and raised beef cattle. He married Mary R. Arbelovsky on Oct. 15, 1977, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. His interests included fishing, hunting, bowling, golfing, the Green Bay Packers and animals.

Survivors include his mother, Marian Breseman, Chili; two brothers, Ronald Breseman, Beloit, and Vernon (Corrine) Breseman, Chili; six sisters, Mary (Thomas) Lila, Port Edwards, Donna Fieber, Marshfield, Darlene Breseman, Monroe, Betty Breseman, Madison, Nancy Breseman, Neenah, and Jane Breseman, Madison; his father-in-law and mother-inlaw, Joe and Donna Arbelovsky, Spencer; six sisters-in-law, Janice Breseman, Sherre (Joe) Rosandich, Barb (Joe) Fleisner, Jean Worzella, LaVonne (Scott) Krasselt, and Patti Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Mary, on Oct. 28, 2001; his father, Harlow Breseman; one brother, Harvey Breseman; and one sister-in-law, Lila Breseman.

Rembs-Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield, assisted the family with arrangements.

Iam always looking for relitives of my family.I was born in florida but was raised in chicago and did not grow up with any bresemans so my family tree page is empty except for mother father wife and six daughters so if you know of bresemans from chicago or brooksville florida let me know,plaese. would love to know my history and met family members or just be able to tell my girls of there heratige. joe breseman is my father his mother was rosie and his father was called whitey. my father also had a uncle in chicago of some importence. thats all i know about them.
