Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 03/07/1918 Darge, Ruth E. (23
NOV 1908 - 1 Mar 1918) Ruth Eleanore
Darge passed away at her home in the town of Worden, Clark County,
Wis. on Friday morning, March 1, 1918. Two weeks before she
recovered from a severe attack of diphtheria and apparently was
getting along nicely when she was taken sick with the complication
of diphtheria, which resulted in heart and kidney trouble. All the
love and care a physician and an anxious household could devise and
apply for her comfort were brought into play, but after a brief
struggle, despite the prayers and entreaties of those who loved
her, their appeals were over-ruled and she was taken to her home
above. Ruth was a bright and winsome child and with her ready smile
she won a large number of friends. The beautiful floral offerings
also bespoke of the many who loved her. Deceased was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Darge and was born in Radipan, Blue
Earth Co., Minn., on Nov. 23, 1908. The funeral services were held
at the Lutheran Church at Reseberg on Sunday afternoon, Rev. Laabs
officiating. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother and father,
two brothers, Ralph and Raymond, and many sorrowing relatives and
friends. Interment took place at the Reseberg Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
