Swallow, Christopher Joseph (21 July 1980 – 11 February 2022)

Christopher Joseph Swallow, “Keraco Maani”, age 41 died at 2:00 P.M., Monday at Mayo Health System, in La Crosse Wisconsin. Christopher was born in Black River Falls, on July 21, 1980, to Howard Levi Swallow and Sara Elizabeth Greyhair.

Christopher was also known as Kunzie or Kunzie Man, he attended school in Neillsville, and Black River Falls. Although he did not finish high school, he later completed his GED at WWTC in Black River Falls. Kunzie met Melissa Michels and they married in 2000 at Millston, and lived in Black River Falls, where they had four beautiful children, LeeLee, Usher, Ayla and KaeDee.

Kunzie worked for Ho-Chunk Gaming as a Blackjack Dealer for majority of his working career. After his divorce and passing of parents he relocated to La Crescent, MN with his two dogs RJ, Toby and his cat Otis. There he was employed by Marco Pizza as a Delivery Driver and an Uber Driver.

Kunzie enjoyed and favorite pastimes were fishing with his 4 children, hunting with his son, running RCA Cars, Golfing, Playing Pool, Bingo and Poker Tournaments.

Kunzie is survived and will be greatly missed by his children LeeLee Swallow of Eau Claire, Usher Swallow, Ayla Swallow, and KaeDee Swallow of Northfield, MN; sisters Lisa (Zane) Flick of Black River Falls, Jodi Abbott of Melrose, and Delaine Marrietta of Blackwater, Arizona; brother, Stacy (Donna) Yellowcloud of Taylor; niece Anissa Flick, nephew Aaron Flick. Along with numerous Aunts and Uncles from the Winneshiek, Greengrass, and Greyhair families. Kunzie is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Levi Swallow and Sara Elizabeth Greyhair-Abbott.

The Swallow Family would like to thank Mayo Health Care workers for all their time and assistance. And all those who visited while hospitalized.
