Ben Bruno sold his home to H.O. Boynton.

Mike Brunner Jr moved to Stratford with his family.

Anton Strick won the contract to build the new school house in Withee.

N.P. Hansen is having a cellar dug and a wall built and will then move his home over it.

75 YEARS AGO...

Stany Damske’s barn was destroyed by lightning on August 18th.

Chas Budrus built a silo.

Alfred Hansen fractured his arm while cranking a car.

Joe Pawlak is building a new home on the lot opposite of R.J. Brunner’s home.

Adam Amendt and his family purchased Nick Jasinek’s home in the village.

Opal Elizabeth McIntyre and Leland P. Walsdorf were wed August 14th.

Lawrence Wielgus died from falling from a hay stack last Saturday. 25 YEARS AGO...

Ralph Bartosewicz, age 86, died August 16th.

Mrs. David Gericke, age 78, died August 14th.

Harvey Weddig, age 78, died August 14th.

Cindy Scholosser and Micheal Elkins were wed August 14th.

Marilyn Szpara and George Sromek were wed June 26th in Lublin.

Agnes Mateski, age 84, died August 13th in Marshfield.

10 YEARS AGO...

Edward Deutschlander, age 84, died August 19th in Stanley

Helen Dubicki, age 77, died August 14th.
