Hoffman, Bessie (1897? - 22 Feb 1913)
Miss Bessie Hoffman died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman north of the village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), on Saturday night last, aged 15 years. She had but recently recovered from smallpox after which dropsy set in and she succumbed to that disease. The funeral took place from the M. E. Church on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. B. Bachman officiating. The family has the sympathy of all.
