Leslie, Catherine (21 Dec 1829 - 4 Mar 1910)

Mrs. George Leslie, who has been an invalid for several years, died at her home in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Friday March 4, 1910, aged 80 years, 2 months and 11 days. Her maiden name was Catherine Teneyk, and she was born in Hamilton, Canada, on Dec. 21, 1829. When but a child she came with her parents to Green Co., Wis., where she was united in marriage with George Leslie in 1852 at Broadhead, and in 1880 they moved to this village. Mr. Leslie died Dec. 14, 1907. She leaves five children, Mrs. James Covert of St. Paul, Mrs. Wm. Gale of Wallace, Idaho, Mrs. Frank Tormey of this village, Mrs. O. Downing of Cadott, and Frank Leslie of Westboro, all of who were present at the funeral except Mrs. Gale. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. W. M. Douglas and Mrs. W. M. Warn, and one brother, Jonathon Teneyk, all of broadhead. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, the services being conducted at the house, Rev. J. B. Bachman officiating.
