Turner, Olga (21 DEC 1917 - 12 Mar 2003)

Olga Turner, 85, Neillsville, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at the Memorial Nursing Home, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 15, at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Rev. Timothy Biebert officiated. Burial was in the Town of York Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Barth, Jeff Barth, Caleb Barth, Joel Anderson, Jay Mettler and Steve Sternitzky.

Olga Louise Wittke was born on Dec. 21, 1917, in Neillsville, to August and Ethel (nee Schumel) Wittke. She attended school in Neillsville. She married Clayton Turner on April 12, 1947. She worked for five years at the Tuttle Electric Company, Kirkland, Ill. In 1965, they moved back to Neillsville and she worked for seven years as a waitress at the White Horse Inn Restaurant. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Clayton; her parents; and one sister.

The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
